A peer-to-peer marketplace built on three promises: real listings, real sellers, and real protection on every transaction.
The big classifieds sites have a dirty little secret: they leave dead listings up for years to make their inventory look bigger than it is.
A true story
Our founder searched for a pocket watch on a major resale app and got a hit. The listing was his own — posted seven years earlier. The seller (him) was long gone. The item had been sold years ago. The site kept it live anyway.
Multiply that by millions of listings and you understand why every search feels like wading through a graveyard. Buyers message sellers who vanished a decade ago. Sellers get burned by ghosted offers. Everybody loses except the platform — because to them, big numbers look like growth.
We refuse to play that game. Here's how Coast2Coast is different.
When you post an item on Coast2Coast, it's live for 30 days — no more, no less. After that the listing is automatically archived and removed from search results.
That means when you see something for sale on Coast2Coast, it's a real, live item someone actually intends to sell — not a seven-year-old ghost.
Buyers shouldn't be left on read. Coast2Coast enforces a real, measurable response rule:
5-day response window
Once a buyer messages you, you have 5 days to reply.
Miss one → public warning flag
No reply in 5 days? Your seller profile gets a visible warning so future buyers know.
Miss three → listing archived
Two more no-responses (three total) and the listing is automatically removed. We're not going to let unresponsive sellers clog up search results for everyone else.
Every Coast2Coast seller starts at zero and works their way up. Badges aren't bought — they're earned through verification, fast responses, good reviews, and completed sales.

Trusted seller
Elite seller
Buyers see the badge tier next to every listing. New sellers aren't punished — they're just clearly labeled so buyers can make informed decisions. And no one — not even our founders — can buy their way to Gold.
When a buyer pays for an item on Coast2Coast, the money doesn't go straight to the seller. It's held in escrow — a secure third-party account — until both sides are satisfied.
Buyer pays
Funds are captured and held by our payment processor. The seller is notified — but they don't get paid yet.
Seller ships with tracking
The seller ships the item and uploads a tracking number. Both sides can see live delivery status.
Buyer confirms delivery
Buyer has a window after delivery to inspect the item. If it's as described, they confirm and the funds release. If there's a problem, they open a dispute before the window closes.
Funds released to seller
Once confirmed (or the inspection window passes without a dispute), the money is released to the seller's payout account. Done.
Both sides are protected
Coast2Coast Buy & Sell operates strictly as a peer-to-peer data venue that connects independent buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction, do not take title to any item listed, and do not act as an auctioneer, broker, dealer, or shipper.
All sales are between the buyer and the seller. Coast2Coast is not responsible for items not received, items not as described, broken, damaged, counterfeit, or non-working items, nor for the truthfulness or accuracy of any listing, user-supplied content, or communication on the platform.
Coast2Coast does not handle, store, or accept liability for any physical packages. All shipping disputes, lost items, or delivery damages are solely between the shipper and the respective postal carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, Royal Mail, India Post, etc.).
Verification badges (Bronze, Silver, Gold) reflect a seller's status at the time of display and are not a guarantee of any future conduct, item condition, or transaction outcome. Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings carefully, asking questions before purchase, and using the on-platform escrow and dispute tools.
By using Coast2Coast you agree to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Safety Guidelines.
